April 7, 2018
Come along to our lunchtime professional skills seminar on 12 April
No need! While the illusion may destroy the sense of a happy family business, we hope our seminar will help dispel any anticipated fear you may have of the General Data Protection Regulations, which will come into force on 25 May 2018. Forewarned can be forearmed!
We aim to provide a brief and practical guide to the new regulations aimed at small businesses, who are not quite sure what GDPR means for them and how they are supposed to comply with the new regulations.
Whatever there is, or is not, to worry about – just come along and ask questions.
Who should attend:
Anybody who collects personal data from others, e.g. for marketing (i.e. e-newsletter), to sell products or services or to obtain subscriptions, or who asks users to register on their websites or blogs.
Thursday, 12 April, 1 to 2pm
Venue: Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA
We have five places for people who are not residents of Somerset House. Please email Silvia Baumgart, firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the office on 020 3701 7395 to reserve our place.
